Check out Floral Alliance out of San Antonio Tx, gave me an order for $40.00 american for a baby novelty , checked their website , cheapest is 44.95 plus the del and what ever service charges, can you say skimmer.
 
****, now I did it; I pissed off Dennis's crowd at Town & Country in Niagara Falls! Oh well, we all have to live with some burden. Laughed at their arrangement of lilies and gerbs etc for 39.00 and they hung up on me; then another person called wondering what was the problem, telling me that I should be thankful that they were out there "gathering" the orders. She hung up too; gee, could it be me??? maybe she doesn't like me!!!:confused:

Who is Kamloops Florist?

located in BC are they real or just an SFO??? tried to pass an order for $65 and then called back to say they ment $48 american.

Thanks V, I got our total we needed to fill this order from them.
When i looked them up they have no price listings for anything so that is why I asked.

Believe it or not we were asked for Lilacs last week and the Wholesalers just Laughed and Laughed. Of course the customer was the Funeral director in town who wanted them within 12 hours:rolleyes:

Hardy Har Har..Kamloops Canceled!

They found it somewhere else cheaper.

I just love how orders are generated via a WS and about two to three hours later the shop calls to cancel after they called you back the second time within that hour you receive the order via phone in to give what the requested money total was only to call back later to cancel. First it was $65 and we said OK and then it was $48 something then it was $55 and then it was CANCEL.

When I brought up there directory in TF dove I saw no prices listed for anything but they did have codification of christmas product listed so that is why I asked the question of who they be?.

The item picked out from the customer was a centerpiece christmas selection of a TF 130-2 something? of course listed in the selection guide with metal horns and such fluff for 50 dollars in our book, yet the order wanted no candle which we thought no problem the money in the candle we will fill up the hole left in the arrangment with roses and more flowers..cool.

Cancel Order! we found a shop who will make sure they can do this for $48 dollars total ws delivered.

Oh my........

Don't know if anyone else has had one yet, we had our first order from Loblaws Stores today. They wanted the C2, or Cwhatever( there used to be a time when I knew the codes, the name the prices, not any more). Too bad we are sold out.

I nominate Loblaws Stores as an official order gatherer.

It boogles the mind to think that someone could walk into the store a couple of blocks away place their order and "bingo it gets printed out in my humble store to be dutifully filled and delivered.

I look forward to their orders coming our way, we are going to target the recipient and the sender, try a little "florist guerrilla tactics". No it does not mean taking out their employees in the produce department.

Carol Fotheringham the F.T.D. rep said they sent over 200 orders in a couple of days. She told my brother Bob that this is good for us.

We and they shall see.

Well just wait till you start getting more orders from Sobeys, from what I'm told they have bought up all the local supermarkets who were privately owned and as many of you know they have FTD as a partner Wire service.
 
We just got our second moronic order from them today that crappy green glass bowl from 2 years ago delivered for $47.00 to a area that is $20.00 del. have sent a ask for $100.00 doubt I'll get anything other than can.

Actually, Sarniaflowers.com is from a real shop in Sarnia. Tanya does a Hel l of a business on-line, and in store...I'm not certain but I think she still has two locations at least in Lambton County. She's my preferred shop in Sarnia.

I guess my point here is I don't think of her as an OG.
